Oak Orchard fishing report. 4/5/18

Went 7 for 10 in a snow storm. Fished east to the ladders picking up 1 turned west and fished to the camp ground and back. Lots of action.

Yea lol I fixed it. I didn’t mention in the above post it also took 18 beers to keep from freezing up. Lol [emoji23]

Good job. Where did you launch? Were the ramps in? Heard there was ice in some areas, was it pretty clear where you fished? TIA

We launched at Captions Cove because we stayed there but the launch is open by the black north. the ramps are not in yet and there was no ice to be seen. the water in the river was 41 deg. the water in the lake was 35 deg. all the fish we caught were in the green water between the mud line and the blue water. Good luck.

Yea they are not in yet. That’s why I launched at captions cove up river.
