Up against a heavy s/SW wind we did ok. Started west of piers and trolled in 8fow to keg, picked up 2 and 1 miss. Water temp dropped from 35-36 to 34 near keg so took it back down west of piers and didn't have any luck since the ice line was keeping us in 10-12fow. My friend decided he wouldn't let the ice keep us from the fish. Literally ran through the ice and picked up a quick 5 right in the middle of it. Cabela's flat side diver in bright colors was on fire. Was clipping on a board and felt a tug, ended up setting the hook by hand and reeling a decent fish in who had a hook already in his mouth. Pretty cool way to catch one ! Was our slowest run yet,but far from skunked !
