Fly storage tubs

I’m Looking for the plastic tubes to store pre rigged flies. I see Amish outfitter and dream weaver boxes that come with tubes, but I’m looking for the tubes only. Anyone know where to get just the tubes and caps?

I bought a bunch from McMaster-Carr in two different sizes, for rigged flies and for just the fly body. I’m a little bit OCD but I like being organized. I find the flies last a lot longer this way too!

I also get my rod sleeve material from them in big rolls and cut it to size to fit different rod lengths.

I’ve used 4 ft fluorescent tube protectors cut to length with a piece of foam pipe insulation to wrap leader around to store flies.  The plastic protectors run about $3.50 at Home Depot so you get a few tubes out of each section.  Then they store in a covered plastic tub.  Pretty economical .

Few that I have are roughly 1 3/8” x 4”... found something similar at uline.com. 1.5”x6” but by time you buy the end caps it ends up being $1.25 a tube without shipping. For that price I can buy an Amish fly caddy and have a box with it too.

Hey decoy hound, the rod sleeve material you get ,what is it called in there catalog? I wouldn't mind trying to get some.

still seems like the best bet is a dreamweaver tube file... $25 for 34 tubes and a storage box (.73 each). Or you can buy them from that site (.69 each) once you add in caps and you have to buy 1000 at a time...

Here’s the information on the box. I think it was under cylinder sleeve protection or something like that, I’d have to look in the catalog.
