Lowrance hds 7 question

The gps on the boat isn't working and apparently isn't getting a signal. It's an hds 7 model. Sonar is working just fine. Does anyone know what might be going on or how to fix it? There is a little red bell with an "!" Flashing on the bottom left side of the screen.

Go to menu and look up active alarms

Check literature for a factory reset. If you can’t find one try google or call lowrance. Hope you are able to work it out. - rob

you might just be in a bad reception area, I have the same unit, certain areas I get no signal, other areas is fine

I would definitely look into an update, it usually happens when they change the frequencies and nothing is being picked up by the old ones.
