When we received our fish on April 9th, the plan was to keep them for 21 days.    Due to the cold water in the Harbor the fish have grown slower than we have seen in past years with warmer water in the harbor. As a result, we will be holding them for a week longer than we have in the past to give them the opportunity to grow a little larger prior to their release.

The pens will be removed, cleaned and prepared for storage on Wednesday May 9th.  We will meet at The Town Of Newfane Marina at 9am and git-er-done.  This evolution takes quite a bit of help and we normally run short. So, if you can please come out and help get the nets ready for storage.  Bring rain suits for pressure washing and side cutters for zip ties.

We will be weighing the fish this Tuesday evening at 5:30pm and again on the 7th.  If you would like to check it out, please feel free to join us.

Thanks to everyone who has made this project a success.
