The last 3or four years i hooked up with 150 to 200 cohos a year,, This year i think i got 5 .Them boys were in the lake somewhere some one posted they saw a year without cohos a few years back and come spawning time they appeared. Well the good news is the cohos have been running the salmon river pretty good tuesday and nonstop for the last 24 hrs. with no sign of slowing up as the estuary is teaming with fish as i type. Many are porpising as cohos do, not the lazy king jump.the other good news is the kings arnt done yet with many still comming in with the cohos. The water temp (river) has droped enuf for the steelies and browns to start running good also.SO if anyone is feeling a little sickdayitus tomorrow might be another day to consider. So where were those Cohos???????????????????????????????????????????????????

We did our fair share of them out of Wilson this spring. Maybe not the numbers we did last year, but they were there. After that I didn't see much of them. In talking with a few guys they seemed to of experienced the same thing.

Fishing out by the red can this year I caught probably 25% cohos. I didn't fish as much in late August or September, but caught quite a few this spring and early summer. We'll see how next year goes.

Notice the wide eyes and mouths agape .....because it's the fear of Ray coming from behind and they knew the sheep who had the same predicament :lol:
