Hey guys, Not trying to create waves but if you are going to post stuff for sale please take the time to read the post at the top of this section. It includes how to closeout an ad. Taking a few seconds to change your ad from active to sold/closed keeps things clean and prevents people from wasting time looking at and responding to ads that are no longer available. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

You have to admit, it IS fun to ask someone if the item is still available a year or two after the item sold

Doesn’t work on mobile app... and if your really have to look that far back, odds are the sellers not that interested in selling or it’s sold.

Good point crappie.... However You can still update the listing with a sold post.

Some guys go through the trouble of editing the original post by deleting the item for sale description and typing SOLD there. All they have to do is change the category from FOR SALE to SOLD. I do it from my android cell phone without using any apps.

The point is that the "Sold" category does not show on the mobile app like it does in a browser, and probably 90% of the members use the mobile app...

As Todd made mention to above, until the problem is resolved in the app it only takes a few seconds to open LOU in your phn browser & make your changes there
