Hi Everyone, I am wondering what size drift sock I should use for a 18’ aluminum boat with a 90 Hp motor. I’m trying to get down to 1.5-1.8 mph, but currently can only get as low as 2.4 mph. Thank you

Have you considered using a trolling plate? Drift bags are great for jiggin or helping to  counteract the affects of the wind but they may not be your best choice for controlling your forward speed.

X2 on Amish Outfitters trolling bags. I have an 18’ trophy and use them. Pretty sure I have two of the 18”. They also help the boat to stabilize in chop, sometime I use them just for that.
