Posting serial number might dissuade someone from buying, or help recovery. Good luck to you.

Didn't I remember one time somebody called a motor maker and reported it and eventually when it was brought in for service it triggered stolen?

I think I remember that too. If you have the numbers I'd give it a try......you never know ...bad Karma may catch up with thecreep.

Well, being in that area I’d expect if he fishes with it there will be a lot of LOU eyes during the lake trout derby if we’re ever so lucky. Wouldn’t want to be that guy at the dock if the LOU gang were to find him for ya.

I would check your Local Pawn shops, I had a log splitter stolen from me , next day I got a call from my Brother saying that he was looking at my Log Splitter sitting out side the Pawn shop with a price tag on it ! I got it back shortly after that call.

I think I would alert any marinas in the surrounding area or guys that fix motors to be on the lookout for it if you have the serial number as well as the police in case  the person (s) get busted wtih a bunch of stuff.etc.
