Keuka What happen to this guy?

Doesn't look like prop. Both sides have open soars. AND, a second fish caught minutes later had smaller red dots across the complete body.

Keuka ?  No muskie there, but I have taken two pike there recently over 12 lbs. and, there are a lot of fish eating birds there including eagles. Could be one of them.

fish was @ 24 inch. Thing is, the next one a caught, also had a red (spots) over its body. They kind of looked related. But maybe a pike for the one in the picture. He still has some fight in him.

I fish Keuka a lot. I always said I was more likely to hit a fish with my boat than catch one with a hook!

Wow I never realized there so many fish diseases among trout and salmon whether Californin or not....very interesting thanks for posting.
