Awesome day on the lake. Went 9 for 14 on kings. All fish came on spoons with leadcores taking most of the hits. The kings were angry with screaming drags and jumping fish. Biggest fish just over 16 pounds. Best day fishing for salmon I have ever had in May.

60-75 seemed best. 8 color lead core was our best producer.

Related - good job.

Unrelated - does anyone ever practice catch and release anymore?

I’m sure they do. As for me, my freezer is pretty empty this time of year. I will usually keep my fish for the first few trips until I get some in the freezer.

When I’m not practicing catch and release I practice catch and eat. Lol.

Never hurts to take a few. ( save some alewives ) [emoji39][emoji39]

Good catch. [emoji1303][emoji1303]
