New to Fishing

Hello everyone im 18 and i am just getting into fishing. I was wondering if anyone could share some tips with me. I Like Pike and Bass fishing but have not had a chance to fish lake ontario.

get ur self a 8wt or 9wt 9ft fly rod and start hitting the streams up this time of year the fish run them and are a blast too fish for ! watch the weather for rain after a good one the fish push in and it can get good after that , this should be a good start for ya , you also should post where ur from maybe some guy"s that live bye ya on here that can help ya out on some good place"s .. jonny
