Turns out the female part of the plug is completely gone, no metal left to complete the circuit with the male pin. Whatever corroded it really ate the metal away.

Tubby2, do you know the part number of the auto plug you bought from Napa, and would it work for this? I have a Lowrance M68c that this plugs into. I'd like to try to repair it, rather than buying another Lowrance Hst-Wsu 50/200 Khz Transom Mount Skimmer. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Maybe try some electronics spray it cleans contacts pretty well....just spray and let sit to dry out then connect it back up. Also works on boat trailer light connections.

Turns out the female piece of the attachment is totally gone, no metal left to finish the circuit with the male pin. Whatever consumed it truly destroyed the metal  Kodi nox

Two year old thread , Blonkos has a habit of quoting a reply or post and nothing else. Scammer of some sort ? Bberke try starting a post with your particular issue instead of jacking / piggybacking this 2 + year old thread.
