Lake trout near Sackets Harbor

Looking to do some lake trout trolling new to the area just wondering where to start at water depth what to use? And any other tips or maybe spots that’s up north here on Lake Ontario

I’m not sure about this time of the year as I never targeted Lakers I’m usually hunting walleyes but come the Month of June on, lakers can be found in what is called the trench, from Henderson to Stoney

Thanks pap I believe that’s between the stony point light and stony island I’ll have to give it a shot I only got a bass boat but my dads coming up Memorial Day weekend trying to get him on some fish

Yea if you come out of Sackets Harbor make a left towards Henderson you will see the cut which is a bridge from that bridge Down to Stoney point you’ll see it getting deeper and deeper run Gambler rigs a few feet off the bottom and you’ll be golden!!
