terminology question from a rookie to trolling...

thats when your heart stops because the fish is so big you have the big one. or it could be a longline behind the boat with little or no weight letting the lure be as natural and stealthy as possable .Only works best when surface temp is low enuf to allow fish to be in there comfort zone.

just let line way out with your lure and ur flating you can also let out some planner bourds and clip em on and flat line a bunch of lurers off of them, good for spring and fall like ray said when temp is higher up in the water (cold water on top ) OH ya if your heart stops thats flat lining too like ray ray said once agian !! O damit i"m stealing his tricks agian

In coming up this week to try my hand with my own boat. only ever went on charters up there so i saw what they were doing(as much as possible) but didnt want to ask to many questions........

depends on last minute planning. we may also go down to oswego.

waiting to see where the better fishing is.

ill sleep on the boat if i have to so lodging isnt gonna dictate it.
