[FISHINMAN]

Did the solo trip this morning. I could have gone with Jax again but he had 2 with him already and I wanted to get my boat out on the water for a run anyways. We (Jax and I ) both shot right out to 180 and started the north troll.

Having talked with Jeremy yesterday about never catching much at all on blue lures, I decide to throw out a blue one on the slider again at the same depths as yesterday and that thing wasn't down 10 seconds and I had a fish :shock: :shock: . Got 3 more on that same set up and so I taped up a Chrome NK blank I had with some blue and silver tape to give it a try and got one on that too :shock: (nothing better than getting a fish on a lure you made up )

Got 1 on a wire too, Dalmation with a Hammer fly.

Ended up 5 for 6 (the one I lost, hit when my back was turned looking for a lure and it was jumping all over the place (smallish anyways :roll: )

Trolled all the way out to 450, neither of us marked much and I only got one fish after the 400 mark and that was heading back in at 425fow. Riggers down 49-61 but nothing except cheater hits. Tried one fixed slider cheated up like 8-10ft for a while with nothing. Speed 2.5 seemed to work for the most part. No mag spoon bites either all 28 size. I know Jeremy got into a few also.

What an absolutely beautiful day to be on the water Anybody that put away their boats are nuts. The fishing has been good and the weather even better. I'll try again tomorrow if it's nice.
