Rigged fly storage

Looking for a cheap way to store rigged flies to keep them safe. Any do it yourself ideas? Thanks

Ive tried some DIY stuff which I wasn't happy with.  I actually just placed an order with Amish Outfitters for some of their Rigged Fly Caddys.  They seem real slick and organized.  Check them out.  The $18 one will store 25 rigged flys securely and visibly.

They also sell a tube fly caddy which puts your flys into a clear tube, with the tubes stored in a clear box.  youll be able to see your fly better, but you have to stuff your leader in there which I find annoying to do.

4ml thick 3" x 5" zip lock bags work nice. then just put in storage box

Cut up a pool noodle into sections.  Wrap around and put in a tackle box.  I just wrap the fly around the flasher and put back into flasher file box.

Pool noodle will work. Do you guys put snaps on the end to hook to flasher so you can change out flies

I looked into packaging options (specifically plastic tubes) and found a few options but most needed to be bought in bulk to make the price worth it. So I bought one of these and it works great, you can store 2 unrigged flies or 1 rigged in each tube and it comes with 34 tubes. Can't beat it for the price imo

Thats just like the Amish Outfitter one I linked to. I like the fact you can see the fly...vs the one I got where the fly is retracted up into a straw

I looked at the Amish one too, they have a tube file version as well. It was a little cheaper than the dreamweaver box but I think the Amish one only held like 17 tubes. The dreamweaver one holds 34 tubes and they will fit a rigged fly if you coil up the leader.

I'm using that photo organization box from Michael's Kraft store, that someone suggested on here. Has about 30 or 40 small plastic boxes inside.
