Garmin ECHOMAP plus/7cv

My first and only trip out this year in April my 3 season old Lowrance HDS quit working. That will be my last lowrance I ever buy! It started shutting down while trolling intermittently last year and I would have to keep turning it back on until it just wouldn’t turn back on anymore this first trip out this year. I hooked it to all 3 batteries on my boat and nothing, so after doing much research I purchased the Garmin. The CHIRP sonar looks amazing! Does anyone run one of these units and have any opinions good or bad. Hope to get it installed this week and get back out on the water. Thank you in advance for any responses.

I have the EchoMap 93 sv Chirp with down imaging and side scan. Works awesome. Better performance than my old Raymarine A65 and Airmar transducer. 

 

Youll love that Garmin man. Great choice.
