Bone yard

Anyone know of any boat bone yards? I am looking to put a hard top on my Grady.

I have always wondered where old boats go.  I have never seen or heard of a boat bone yard.  I bet some of the finds in one would bring tears to our eyes.

You could make one out of fiberglass. I have a Bimini on my Grady, and o am thinking about using it to mold a fiberglass top.

Do you think the frame will be heavy enough to support the fiberglass?

Well, I'm not sure to be honest. I would try to make it as light as possible, I just want shade and waterproof. My bimini is fine now, but not sure how long it will hold up. Thought about just laying finerglass right over it, and letting it cure. I looked online and maybe FRP(?) would work. Something to think about since they are so hard to find. My Bimini Frame is old school, heavy stainless, made in the 80s, probably since the boat is an 83.
