Niagara River

Does anyone know if salmon and steelhead caught on the New York side of the Niagara river can be taken back to Ontario? I have asked customs and the ones I spoke to did not even seem to know.

If you have an Ontario fishing license and follow Ontario rules for limit and size of fish then you should be good

If you mean the fillets you just have to leave a portion of the skin on.
