Do you deploy them after you deploy your rigger or do they need to stay on your line.   Trying to understand how they work when setting lines.  I see in the one picture the line going through a hole in the red part so assumed it had to stay on your line.

Sorry if this has been answered before, is there a tension difference in the black and red, like the grip strength of the pads or just heavier snaps?   Also what is the current pricing?  Are you possibly in the buffalo, ny area?

They both hold about the same for the lines they are designed for. They stay where you set them and slowly slide dons when fighting the fish. No slack like free slider.Red for beaver lines 20 to 40. Black for 10 to 20. $.50 each fo both. $3.80 total shipping. Thanks

Yes deploy rigger with bottom lure attached and then hook cheater to rod line from 5’ to 25’ above and lower to depth. Called fixed cheater.
