"Reelin' for a cure" Ladies Tourney August 17th 2018

Reminder the Ladies tournament fundraiser event will once again be held the 1st friday of the Fall LOC derby, August 17th this year. Full details are available @ reelinforacure.com .

In 2016 approx $4800 was raised for Marys Wig room which helps Women deal with the loss of their hair when undergoing chemo treatments.        Last year this event raised $5000 for Breast Cancer network of WNY--metastatic research, which was the largest single donation they have received to date.

This years benefactor will be the "Look good feel better" program through the American Cancer Society.

Teams that already have a boat can enter, and some teams without a boat can sometimes be accommodated. At this point there are more Womens teams than volunteer boat owners/Captains, so please reach out if you would like to host a team-- reelinforacure.com  Again, full details will be on the web site. Besides a fundraiser, a womens fishing tournament takes place and many women have been introduced to Lake Ontario and the fishery.
