Chinook divers

Has anybody used these. I'm reading lots of good things about them. What size and what colors and are they better than dipsies thanks to all

Only used them for browns. I think I took 1 fish but didn't run them alot. I bought smallest size. Seemed to run fine.

They're a great diver. We run the #2 a lot in the Spring for BT.

I use them ,they work great . Bigger the size the more depth if you want it.
Easy to remember how much line out to how deep your running
With the weight set on the #1 position it's double the line out to the depth you want.
With the weight set at the #4 position it's triple line out for depth you want.
I find them easy to reel in when the diver is tripped to.

Another positive vote for Chinook Divers. I run 2 of those, and 2 slide divers. That keeps me covered year round.

I run them as well and like the fact that when popped the drag is less than half of a dipsy diver, only thing I don’t like is they seem to plane out which is where Dipsey divers come in cause of that erings allowing them to get deeper than a chinook.

Where can I get these locally. Their website chart shows these going down to 100'. I want to try them out. I called BE Fishing and Tackle and they do not carry them.

  I just started using them this year & like them better than the dipsy's.  But I think they need a better way to move the weight around.  Too easy to lose screw & lead.  jmho.

We are set up for 2 Chinook Divers and 2 Slide Divers. The Chinook Divers are always set the same, and we adjust the Slide Divers if we do 2 per side. Chinook Divers hands down deeper and easier to reel in when released over traditional plastic divers.
