Henderson Bay for the new guy

Looking to fish for pike a couple days next week in Henderson Bay while camping at Westcott.  I don't want GPS coordinates or your honey hole, just a general idea what to look for (depth, bait, etc).  I've never been this area before and new to this.  Could anyone recommend a good bait shop near Westcott SP?  In Henderson?  Or Sackets Harbor?  Thanks.

I don't fish for Pike, so I can't help you there.

 

Henchens marina in Henderson Harbor has a big selection of bait. It's the only bait shop I've used between Henderson and Sackets, but there are probably more that I'm not aware of.
