Took a friend out who never caught a salmon before. That changed ! Ran out northeast to 140 where the first bait showed on the screen. Setup on a west troll, took 3 shots and 3 misses. Ran another 45min-hr on hunt and had a clear screen. Pulled lines and ran back to original spot, setup on a east troll, graph got better and water got better. Landed one 12# and decided to hunt straight north. Game on. Filled the box (he wanted meat and has 5 kids to feed) and tossed a few healthy ones back. Only one Skippy in the mix. All were 12-18# with one big momma who didn't fit in the box. Ended up in the 430 range and when we pulled lines the graph was covered with giant hooks. Everything took fish except the 8+10 color bonus rods. Fish were loving the 55° temp. Was typically around 60-75 down. Flashers, meat, spoons. Variety of colors. Deep and high. Big girl swallowed the meat on the 61 rigger. Lake was flat and the action was solid. IMG_20180711_211018011.jpg

I wish you the best of luck. Watching my 4yr old crank in kings are things I'll be able to relive till I'm gone. Savor it. Get some !!
