New to salmon fishing

I have a 20’ aluminum and would like to take a trip to the big lake. Without having to travel too far I would like to know where and when is the best time to try and catch some kings. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Both are good launches. Olcott has a little more room and your on the water quicker.
