Wanted WTB Yamaha Outboard - 225-300hp 2 or 4 stroke

Looking for a used but good quality lower hour Yamaha outboard to re power with. 2 or 4 stroke fine. 25" shaft. willing to travel. Needs to be 225-300 hp.

 

Year 2000 or newer preferred.

What are you doing with old engine? Are you willing to sell it?

I am considering selling it yes, or holding onto it for a spare. Still on the fence as it has treated me pretty well and only has around 950 hours on it. 

 

I put a deposit on a 225 Yamaha with 325 hours on it yesterday so I should decide in the next 2-3 weeks.
