Do you mean (darker) arches on the display? The arcs themselves appear plenty large. OR do you mean have them look like fish symbols which may be accomplished in the settings menu somewhere....not familiar with that particular unit.

OH....That display pictured is another unit than the one you are talking about... does the sensitivity need to be turned up? Also your transducer may need to be positioned  little differently if for example you aren't getting the full arches of the fishconsistently because the fish may be located at the edge of your transducer cone angle. Also if you are traveling fast boat speed-wise the return signal from the fish may be partial.

Your problem is with the screen scrolling speed. By the looks of it your speed is a 2 or a 4. If you slow it down to 1 or even 1/2 the marks will stop being long and thin. They will be nice and fat.

To do this, short press the function key and the speed selection screen will show up. go 1/2 or even 1/4 . that will change the long lines to shorter ones . Do not press the function key a long time because then a different screen will pop up .

Hawkeye's speed is a one

Sorry , I just looked at the picture and answered before reading. In order to get these long lines, you have to get to a 3 or a 4

I have a 627 and the scrolling speed definitely changes the shape of the fish.  The default speed is #1.

NymphO's  idea works to improve your screen also or if you're fishing the top 75 FOW go to manual range and set it to look at 90-100 ft. Improves the look on the smaller screen units
