Results at the 1000 Islands Open in Kingston

If anyone is curious about the bass fishing in eastern Lake Ontario or the St. Lawrence River, go look at the results of last weekend's Thousand Islands Open held out of Kingston!

Been goin strong for several years now. Certainly improves the fishing closer to Kingston as all these fish are released. They mostly originate from main duck island area.

All the fish may be released..... Not all the fish survive. Thats a pretty rough day in the life of a smallmouth.

Agreed! I’m not a bass angler but have seen an increase in incidental catches over the last few years for sure. Lots of giants.
