Probably a dozen boats out of Sandy already when I met my buddy at 6 am. Noticed right away waves were larger than I expected...The guy in this picture I know was a little sceptical about how our vessel would handle in the rollers. We made it to 100ft and set up 1 copper, and two dipsies . First fish came off bottom in 120ft on copper rig w blue and silver spoon.. Fish came off before we saw him though... Lip dragging we continued on. Ten minutes later, 120 ft depth, this 12 lb king took a watermelon stinger spoon about 75 feet down on our dipsy. Awesome high fives as we got this one in the boat! Guess that made us 1 for 2. Great trip. 19970.jpeg
