King "in" Sandy creek Oct. 12th

Here's a king I netted for a gentleman at the boat launch at Sandy this morning. It did not have the hook in it's mouth but the line was all wrapped around the bottom part of it's jaw and teeth :shock: and put up a nice fight for him on lighter tackle.

Hope you offered him a recipe for some soup ! Surprised no comments on that yet, but I guess you'd have to be able to read the newspaper first !

EXCELLENT!!! I didn't know you were famous. Gonna try the recipe this week & let you know if you pass the taste test. I'm also gonna stock up on squash this week, I love butternut & acorn squash.
