Wilson/Niagara bar 8/12

Went out of Wilson and ran to the Niagara bar. Went 14-35ish with atleast 10 shakers that were released in good health. Started in 140 fow off the break and got 4 to start off the morning. Went kind of quiet for us so headed offshore to check that out and did nothing out there in 300-370ish fow so headed back to the bar. Got set back up at 10am and boxed 4 solid fish on first pass. Worked 80-120 Finished off our limit in the next couple hours with some nice fish.

 

What worked:

-300 coppers with 8” spindoctors and meat rigs and FF

-High braid divers back 120-160 on setting 3-1/2 with 10” spin doctors and atomik flys.

-Wire divers back 130 on setting 1-1/2 with diabolical meat rigs 11” pro troll flashers

-riggers one at 70’ with 10” spin doctor with atomic fly (took our biggest bite) but lost fish.

Kept a spoon on probe rigger most of the day and that took most of the shakers.
