Cayuga south end 10/12

Fished from 7-10:30 on Sun AM out of tremain. Did 13 or so dink salmon/rainbow, and one 8-9lb laker. Worked the whole water column with spoons on riggers, dipseys, leadcore in 70-150ft of water on west side.

Everything took a fish, but neutral colors seemed to do the most action again for us. Just couldn't get any bigger salmon, bows or browns in the boat, so I don't know if it's the location, speed or program we're running, but we're gonna keep tweeking it.

Weeds made center of lake and dropoff unfishable, so we stayed on west side and didn't have any problems. It's amazing how localized and thick those weeds are!

We had more or less the same results with a similar approach. This our first year at this and I am wondering if a planer board bite will return here shortly or will the fish scatter further, making it tough to get much going?
