Well...got moving early today and decided to take one more shot with the boat off the mouth of Canadaway Creek, just west of Dunkirk. Still dark when I set the first lines, and got to watch the sun rise over a calm lake.

I remarked again to my wife today that I think it was the calmest morning

of the season!

Fished in there until 10:00 and decided to take one last run around before

pulling the boat for the year.

Never moved a rod, although the glow spoons seemed to draw the attention of a couple of gulls. Talked to the other boat that was in there

at the ramp. He only did 1 bass.

There are steelies in pockets in the creek...but there is NO water to

get them moving.

Thanks for the post..unfortunately putting her to bed...BUT.... hope

to be knee deep on a yet to be determined LO trib next weekend!
