Looking to find a 28 PY soft top, condition is not important, rotten stringers and transom don't bother me at all as Ill strip it to the bare hull and rebuild from the  hull up, looking for prop pockets not tunnel

Smaller then your desired 28 but I looked at this soft top 2 weeks ago. It is a tunnel drive but the trailer alone is worth the investment.

I just called the scrap yard and was told that they don’t have a penn yen.    If you could stop by and make sure that is what you buddy did with it.    What model it was.   I’m 4.5 hrs away and not a short trip.   Thanks rick

there was  one that is a soft top i looked at this spring, Greg Hill, 288 penn yan ...port clinton... he did a nice job but not for me... wanted like 28,000....

If you are still looking there is a 29 on Ebay in Islip, NY... had a client look at it and said it wasn't too bad but decided to go elsewhere.  Just thought I would help
