Has anybody seen a fish that looked like this?

The boys had a bass federation tournament today on Cayuga and caught this pickeral. Just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like it?

As their is the rare blue walleye there also is a rare species, blue pickeral this is really something!! On Pennsylvania OutDoors this evening they showed a blue pickeral. I looked it up and it's legit.  .

I know that normal gray crayfish can have a gene missing and will cause there shell to be blue... same species, just missing a gene. Maybe it’s something like that?!

It's actually not a pickerel, it's a northern pike. A blue pickerel is actually a walleye.

Yes a blue pickerel is what they call a blue walleye in canada, but that is a pickerel and blue walleye are extinct.
