So whats the depth on this at 2 mph and what is needed at the ends for tie ins? Familiar with lead.

Backing and leader at the ends.  you treat it just like copper.  every 200 feet puts it about 40 down at that speed so if you send out the weighted steel and then 200 feet of backing you would be 80 feet down

Just an FYI the backing needs to be the 19 strand torpedo wire to have the same sink rate past the weighted steel line.
