I was perusing the Lake surface temps from the Michigan Sea Grant Page, and noticed that the surface temps are now in the 30's and 40's near Rochester... That's close to a 30 degree swing in a week. What does this mean for fishing, if anything... and would it have an effect on the salmon run?

Thanks,

Matt

That makes zero sense. Their system must have a glitch. I have heard of the lake 'turning over' - but that can't be right to get that cold. I'm sure there is a long discussion on the lake 'turning over' i'll have to find it...

When the chart is gray, it shows that the satellite beam is not getting a full signal bounced back to it. I.E. don't believe the gray areas.
