Sold / Closed Tanacom 750 electric reel

I have a never used Tanacom 750 electric reel. It is 12 volt DC. I bought it because my son injured his shoulder but he decided to just not reel in any fish last year. Now I no longer need it.

It cost me $399.00 but I will sell it for $300.00 plus shipping. I had to change it from best offer at the request of another member.

Wow just did a search, never even heard of such a reel!!  It amazes me as a parent the length we will go to get our kids out there with us. Congrats to you as a fathers stand point I see why it would aid him!!

Box says braided line only. Why is that?

Braid line didn't suit my purpose. But it wouldn't break like mono if reeling in fast and not setting the drag light enough. I never used it so i can't say if mono would work.

I have 2 of these reels and they are great. I only use them for a couple guys who have shoulder injuries or just can’t handle the regular rods anymore. Mine are loaded with mono and used for my riggers. Super smooth drags and so far they have held up great (6 seasons so far). As far as “braided line only” I believe that is just for the line counter.
