Trolling near sodus point

I'm on vacation this week as my brother is home on leave. Has anyone been out of sodus recently? He has never caught a king casting on the pier but I dont know if there are enough around it to try yet. My boat is only a lund fury 1600 so heading out to far is probably a little out of my league. Any info on near shore bites is much appreciated

On Sept 8 when heading out of Fair Haven a salmon was caught on the west end of the pier. He was a small 7 to 8lb. Good Luck

Troll out to 150 to 220. We did well Saturday and Sunday. The cold water is out there, fish 70 to 110 down. Mix spoons and flashers.
