Cayuga Heading out of long point

Going to try north of long point this weekend. How has the fishing been? I'm taking a women out for her first time trolling on the finger lakes and would like to get into something. Any help is appreciated.

With the lake trout in prespawn mode now they tend to head to the South end of the lake.  I followed that advice last weekend and found some big fish around the power plant.  Good luck.

Last Saturday we started by the power plant had a few smaller ones, ended up cruising around showing my brother the lake since he has never been on it. Ended up dropping line again up by Aurora and they we hitting every 15-20 minutes, mostly Lakers with a couple nice rainbows
