If you fall out of your tree stand this will gently lower you to the ground. Its a rope system that deploys when you leave your perch, then like rock climbing you can lower yourself down. I bought it but never used it as I gave up tree stands for ground blinds. They were pricy so that is why I think they never took off big but looks to be the safest thing you can have especially if your a high hunter. Tree stands do fail and falls happen.

I would like to get it to a hunter on this site so $50 shipped to your door.

Honestly a good climbing rope a prussic knot in paracord tied to it and a carabiner clipped to your safety harness is the best way to climb and descend safely and for 50 bucks a guy can outfit 10 stands with the setup.... these things were an interesting idea but as you say pricey... saw a guy that was trapped hanging upside down by his harness for two days...when my kids started hunting i got real particular about safety...every hunter should learn how to rig that it takes like 5 minutes for every stand...
