High winds on Sat

Weatherman is talking about the wind gusting more than 40 mph Sat. Has anyone had success with winds that high?

Been waiting all week for weekend and high winds and snow are forecast. Will deer move in that?

All about timing of the rut cycle in the area you hunt. I was hunting Tuesday in 50 mph gusts and bucks were chasing all day. If some does come into estrous then it is game on no matter what the weather. Make sure you look up and be sure the tree you are in doesn’t have any dead branches above you.

If no action, high winds and precip present great still hunting opportunity.

Just make sure you are safely strapped in to a very solid tree in a real good stand. 40 mph winds are nothing to mess with.

In the AM it wont be as windy make your AM hours count get in super early.
