Heading up to TO next week to see a show with my wife

and to celebrate her tolerating my fishing for 15 years!

Staying at the Delta Chelsea...

Does anyone have a suggestion for a great place to

go eat dinner?

John, here's what you do. Eat at Tournedos Steak House (where I'm the Chef) here in Rochester, then go to Toronto to see the show. The meal will be so good that you (or better yet your wife) won't care if you miss the show completely

The one restaurant I was gonna suggest isn't open anymore up there, the owner/chef moved to NYC to open up his restaurant there. Can't think of anywhere up there to go to but I'll ask around for ya too.

Thanks for the suggestions...I've been scouring the net for

a place....we've stayed at the delta chelsea before and eaten

at a couple of places on Elm st...which were good...just looking for something else. I can't believe some of the prices at those steak

houses! I can almost get the whole loin here at the local meat shop!

Fishinman....love your idea...'cept we have a matinee show!

Suggested that it might be cool if we took the long way home and

hit the bass pro shop in Vaugh Mills on the way back....She agreed

to that ::)))!

John that's better yet, you can come in after the show ;)

As far as steakhouse prices goes there's a lot to consider as to why their prices are so high. Sometimes they are justified other times there not. Ours our  :D :!: There is a HUGE difference between what you buy at a "local meat shop" and what I have in our restaurant which is dry aged beef. Come by the restaurant sometime, even if it's just to say hi or let me buy you a drink and I'll show/explain to you why we get the prices we do.

Thanks for trying to convince me Tom!

We've gone up there before and like the matinee show so

there is no rush at dinner...we're staying that night so I can't

swing your way!!

Found a good looking place for breakfast on the way out of town

but still looking for that dinner place. There are a couple near

the DC that we've eaten at before. but I hate to repeat.

Traded her time at the Eaton Centre for Bass Pro Shops the next

day too!
