Tommy’s done a few night sets and seen a couple but no shots.
Bait pile usually gets set up the day after muzzleloader.
After that it’s game on.
Going to be a great season, can’t wait!!

Fresh roadkill on the Parkway 3/4 of a mile West of 390.  Looks like someone already took the head off.  That is the sixth buck I have seen in that stretch (Long Pond to 390) this fall missing its head.

136 yards to the deer. Curious to see how long it takes to get hit.
Unfortunately a ton of deer eat there so the alarm might be going off frequently.

Fresh roadkill on the Parkway 3/4 of a mile West of 390.  Looks like someone already took the head off.  That is the sixth buck I have seen in that stretch (Long Pond to 390) this fall missing its head. 

I saw a big body on the side of 490 thismorning with no head. Is it legal to take the heads off of these bucks?

I saw the deer along the parkway before there heads got cut off. they are small bucks little 4s maybe a 6pt why would somebody take them

The one i grabbed off the Parkway was a year and a half old buck, antlers were cut off as well

New moon and the early cold has em going hard.  My son filled our last doe tag yesterday morning. After dragging it out he went back up to get back on stand and a coyote was coming down the drag trail hot.  We have had 2 come in on down deer while we were still in the stand.  After deer season we'll start getting after them with the dogs, caller, and bait pile.
