I would not. The texture would not be the same. They should keep for a couple of days if you can wait to cook them.

Not a good idea bacterial possibility. A while back I had to dispose of 18 bags of fillets from my refrigerator in the garage because of a freezer malfunction ...it broke my heart because of the work involved and waste but couldn't take the chance.

  • I don't refreeze any meat. I was getting ready to make a trip to tn. went down in the basement to the freezer. opened the door to get some walleye to take with me. everything was thawing out with mushy fish and deer meat. I called everybody I knew to come get what they wanted. the freezer was broke and it broke my heart but it was still cold enough the meat was good as long as it was cooked in the next few days.
