Rod storage for cheap.

Hey guys, made some rod storage for the ceiling for less than 10 bucks. This rack is just shy of 4 foot long and made from pine. Holds 15 setups at a space of 4.5 inches center to center. Can go an extra inch if you were looking for an all copper rod rack.

 

I needed to get some stuff off the floor of the basement and this was the best option.

 

1x4 pine. I plan on building more from oak next time.

"L" brackets in the hardware isle. 2 bucks a pack of 4.

I found pre-made metal ones at cabelas and adorned my garage with them on both ceiling and walls.  I set mine up to keep the rods together so during the season I can just grab them off the rack, dipsy/rig and all or leadcore with leader....and go.  Best way to protect expensive set-ups from wives with shopvacs.....
