Rented a place in Chaumont Bay for a long weekend of ice fishing, never been up there for ice fishing before. We will be staying in the Adams Cove area in mid Feb. Looking for advice on where to fish in that area. Obviously we will only be fishing if the ice is safe. Are there any portions of the bay we should avoid? Any we should focus on? Do tip ups work well or is it mainly jigging? Looking to target walleye/perch mainly. Any advice is appreciated!

Oh boy. Books could be written about targeting different species out there. Chaumont Bay can be very dangerous due to being so big allowing the wind to be a factor. Like and Follow Chaumont Hardware on FB. Greg posts daily once the season is on.
