Eyes In I bay?

Anybody had any luck this time of year for walleyes in I bay? My friends are thinking of taking there small boat out at night or cast from shore from a spot I had luck with in the past at night but that was in the early summer.

i dont know i - bay that well. my advice is find any rocky points (if there are any) and cast in close 2-3 fow. using floating stickbaits that have a good rattle and can be casted far. slow retreives with pauses. make the lure erratic

That's like the spot and the way I fished for them in the past. I told them I'll meet them there and we'll give it a try.

I would check with Bosco. He seems to be the most knowledgable about the walleyes in I bay.

We chucked some lures for about and a half with no takers

Tom, Friday night we tried without luck as well. Stopped at the markers for some perch after dark and only caught a handfull of silver bass, but they smelled better then the skunk I thought we were going to bring home. :mrgreen:
