oswego Oswego County Fishing Report for January 4, 2019

Oswego River report:

 

The water level has been fairly consistent for the last week or so. This morning it is flowing at 15,700 cfs. Conditions are about the same on the river. With the high water level and fast flow, the lower east side behind the hotels is a suggested spot to try. Anglers have found browns, rainbows and a few walleyes using jigs or bottom bouncing egg sacs.

 

Notice: The bridge to Leto Island is closed, and there are mandatory personal flotation device (PFD) zones on the river. For more information, view the Brookfield Varick Fish Safely Brochure below.
